THE CONCEPT

This festival isn’t run by one team. It’s built collaboratively with independent venues, promoters and collectives - each bringing their own identity, artists and audiences.
It came from a pretty simple idea…
Build it together. Share the value. Support the culture.
We share infrastructure, marketing and resources. We share the outcome too.
There are no shareholders, artists are paid fairly and all partners benefit from the success.

THE EXPERIENCE
Built for discovery and programmed by the people who know the scene best.

From grassroots venues to independent promoters, each space is curated with intention - not algorithms.

You won’t recognise every name - and that’s the point! Beyond the music, the festival opens up into something wider.

Wellness spaces, creative workshops, and areas designed for families all sit naturally alongside the programme - giving you space to slow down, explore and experience the festival in your own way.

This is a festival designed to be explored.

WHO ITS FOR

For people who know what festivals can be.
For those who miss when festivals felt more open, more human.

For those discovering it for the first time.
For those bringing the next generation with them.

We have raised over £190,000 raised through donations, tickets and public funding. Thousands of people backing a different way of doing things.

These are the founding members helping shape what this becomes. This isn’t just a festival - it’s a collective effort.

PERFORMING ARTS
As our crowdfunder closes, we invite you to Where It All Began; a festival for holistic thinkers, dreamers, and doers ready to shape the future.

This is more than music and performance; This is cultural inheritance; every moment is designed to pass down knowledge, creativity, and resilience, ensuring the cultures we love not only survive but thrive. Here, families, comrades, and new best friends come together to learn, create, and imagine a future that honours the past.
